Lynch Defends Comprehensive Examination

Graduate student Thomas Lynch successfully passed his comprehensive examination on October 10, 2011 in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology. The title of his proposal was "Activation and Regulation of Quiescent Progenitor Cells in the Mouse Tracheal Airway". Tom received his bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and began his graduate studies in the Biosciences Program in 2009. Tom will continue his thesis work in Dr. John Engelhardt's laboratory focusing on stem/progenitor cells in the mouse tracheal submucosal glands. Congratulations, Tom!
